Leak Detection & Repair

Got Leaks?

We have the tools and know-how to fix any leak in your home ( except for the roof! ). Water is a precious resource. A running toilet can waste about 200 gallons of water every day. We can fix that. Leaky faucets waste similar amounts of water. We can fix them too.

Slab leaks are common in southwest Florida. Copper pipes under the floor interact with the soil outside and municipal water inside and develop pin holes in the pipe. One leak leads to another and repeated openings of the floor to repair the pipe is expensive. The permanent solution for slab leaks is to re-pipe your home. Whether you choose to repipe after multiple water leaks or repipe as a preventative action there is no better way to get piece of mind.

  • Why do I have to do repipe?
You don’t have to… You want to... Eliminate worrying if your brand new wood floor is going to be ruined or if you might have to replace carpet, tile, home furnishings, cabinetry, drywall and baseboards throughout your house because of one of these awful slab leaks.
  • What kind of material do you use?
Uponor AQUAPEX is our choice of material for most repiping. This pipe is backed by a 25 year warranty when installed by our Uponor Wirsbo-trained technicians and is corrosion resistant, very quiet, clean, healthy and safe. Aquapex is very flexible and with the right equipment is quick to install. Because it comes in rolls we can take it from one end of the attic to the other with minimal fittings.
  • How long will I be without water?
We will NEVER leave you without water. The only time the water will be off is when we switch you over to the newly installed system. This is usually done in one day, depending upon the size of the home.
  • How much damage will be done to my home?
We will have to make accesses in your walls to manipulate our new pipes and attach to your existing fixtures. We rough patch upon completion and some of our customers can’t even tell where we cut our access holes. Mind you, we are not drywall installers or painters… we are plumbers. So, if you want to get your own drywall installer or painter, the job will go smoothly. Or we can refer you to qualified professionals.
  • Do I need a permit when I repipe?
Yes. A notice of commencement will be filed and a permit will be pulled when we begin your repipe. Our work is inspected by local building officials ensuring top quality.
